Borgo Tegolato represents the contemporary evolution of the original estate. Today, the entire property — comprising the Villa, the Tenuta, and the Castle (currently under renovation) — has chosen to identify under a single name inspired by its most precious resource: the Tegolato.
The name of each of our structures pays homage to this iconic wine, a unique element that sets us apart on the global winemaking stage. It was Prince Alberto Dimitri Kunz d’Asburgo Lorena, the owner of the residence, who began this story in 1956, planting the vineyards and creating a prestigious brand based on an unparalleled production technique. It is with profound respect for this heritage and unwavering passion that we have chosen to carry forward and enhance this brand.
