In the heart of Chianti

Your private estate in the heart of Tuscany

About us

Villa Tegolato: your private Tuscan retreat

Born from a love for this land and the experience of the neighboring Tenuta Tegolato, Villa Tegolato was personally restored by Doreen & Anthony, blending the farmhouse’s heritage soul with sophisticated, light-filled interiors.

Secluded and absolutely private, it is the ideal setting for large groups, family retreats and private weddings — where rural tradition meets contemporary comfort.

Il Tegolato

The wine that gives the estate its name

The whole property takes its name from its most precious resource: the Tegolato. The vineyards were planted in 1956 by Prince Alberto Dimitri Kunz d’Asburgo Lorena, who created a prestigious label from an unparalleled technique.

Just a few hundred meters away, in the historic cellars of Società Agricola Castello del Tegolato, you can taste our wines.

  • Chianti DOCG “Castello del Tegolato”
  • IGT Toscana “Levriero”
  • Riserva, aged in wood
